Scabies

Scabies is a rash that happens when very tiny bugs, called mites, barrow under the skin and causes itching and sometimes infection. It’s often referred to as “The Itch.”
 
Scabies is very contagious. It is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact such as holding hands, dancing where there is direct contact, wrestling, etc.
Below , you will find guidelines and symptoms:

   - Check for rashes that are itchy.

   - Carefully examine hands, especially between the fingers, and on the wrist
      spreading to the elbows. Also, check knees, feet, armpits, bottom and   
      waist areas.
   
        (Note not all rashes in these areas will be scabies).

    - It’s always important to follow up with your doctor with any rash that will
      not go away.

    - Also, ensure good personal hygiene habits are followed, ie: wash hands
      often, bath and/or shower often and wear clean clothes.
